“The release date we are announcing is set in stone and there will be no further delays for the game,” Inafune assured fans as part of today’s announcement. The game missed its projected 2015 release window, however, and last-minute setbacks delayed its worldwide launch past a previously announced February release date. 9 earned nearly $4 million in backer pledges from a successful Kickstarter campaign that wrapped up in 2013.
